The Program for Excellence and Equity in Research is designed for outstanding students from underrepresented groups in the STEM, who are joining a graduate program at UT. PEER provides its scholars with a competitive fellowship and additional professional and scientific training opportunities with the support of an extended mentoring network. The PEER program includes faculty members from STEM graduate programs at UTK who value and embrace diversity and is supported by a staff committed to PEER scholars’ success.
